From Lorrie Lee: As a member of the American Cancer Society DetermiNation endurance event program, I dedicated my 26.2 mile run in the New Orleans Rock N Roll Marathon on February 28th to help the American Cancer Society save lives.
Most of us have been touched by cancer in some way. I lost my mother 20 years ago and have many friends battling this disease today. This is my way of fighting back against a disease that has taken too much. And, every mile I conquered was more meaningful because I did this for something greater – for a cause I truly believe in.
