The “Hart” of the Matter.
With a last name like Hart, I have developed a unique relationship with the one day we traditionally associate with love and the heart. Over the years, I’ve received heart-shaped Valentine’s Day gifts in every shape and variety. I’ve gotten crystal hearts, heart-shaped jewelry, clothes with hearts, drawings and folk-art of hearts, glass stemware with hearts, and even a heart-shaped cake tin.
Each one reminds me of a close relationship and a special connection that has made my life richer and fuller. That’s the great thing about Valentine’s Day. It gives us the opportunity to show the people closest to us how important they are. Because the heart of the matter, in life and in business, is really the relationships we make and keep.
