We compiled a list of six tips that can help you improve your marketing efforts in the coming year. In the current economy you have the opportunity (and sometimes the directive) to look for new solutions and try new approaches to improve your marketing results. Here are a couple of suggestions for you to consider including in your marketing plan:
1. Be organized and forward-thinking – Take a day between now and the end of the year to capture your thoughts, and make a list of ideas, possibilities and solution options for the challenges that you foresee for the year ahead. We’ve included a two-page worksheet to help get you started.
2. Start a ’stop doing’ list for next year – What are you doing now that is not delivering results and draining your time and effort? Make a shift in how you spend your time and energies can lead to a more productive use of your resources.
3. Think strategically, listen to your customers, see yourself through your customer’s eyes – Set clear goals and objectives for your marketing activities and measure everything your do to see if and how well it works.
